If you're looking for some amazing yoga...

I can only scratch the surface, but let me tell you of a couple great places...

Meet my sweet, silly, cuttin' up, mostly-upside-down, TOTALLY GOOF-BALL, Ahimsa-fied wife, Keri Atchley.

She teaches at the Crosspoint Church, on HWY 393S near Gulf Place.  You can find her there at 8am every Tuesday and Thursday for a 60 minute class (for $10).  ALL LEVELS WELCOME... really!

(She'll make you feel like you've been doing this for years in no time!)

If you're a beginner, try getting there around 7:45am for a little one-on-one instruction.  More importantly, try harder not to be late. Being late can disrupt the class vibe & you just might miss out on that comfy, uber-juicy pose that she begins with.  If you are late, you are still welcome!  The most important thing is to just "show up and get on your mat." Not much more will be asked of you.  Simply come in quietly, set up your mat and prepare to join the fun!

Starting in October she will be adding a 9:15am class on Thursday only that runs for 90 minutes for $15.

Now, Get Balanced...

If 8:00am or even 9:15am is too early for you, OR the church is too far from where you are - our other FAVORITE place to go is Balance Studios on 30A in Seagrove.  You will often find my wife racing off to catch the 9:30am class that they have EVERY WEEK DAY.  This place is awesome.  And on weekends, their classes are at 9:00am.  They also have evening classes... check out here for their schedule.  This is where my wife takes her teacher training and by far, these are the best teachers you will find in the Southeast - if not everywhere!

And for you Destin-ites... Steph Pennhollo's Destin Hot Yoga is quite the "hot" spot.  Join this 90 minute Barkan style class - you are sure to sweat away those impurities and toxins.

And as always, dont' forget to...

BREATH, DRINK WATER and DO YOGA.

(thank you Bart for those simple reminders!)

And if you're really up for a challenge, sign up to be a teacher yourself!  Follow this link to know more about "Your Life in Balance - 10 month Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Program" at Balance. 2012 dates to be released soon.
